Thee Las Mercedes project belongs to the 4th generation of the Bouchon family in Chile. It was born out of a desire to capture a little bit of who we are in each bottle of wine that carries our label. The philosophy behind Las Mercedes is to dare to make wines with absolute freedom to create the kind of wine we would like to drink ourselves to share with our friends and eventually with the rest of the world.

4TH GENERATION, 3 COMBINATIONS

JULIO
the passion

JUAN
the action

MARÍA
the emotion
Julio, an avid skier, mountain biker and horseman, enjoys expressing his passion for the great outdoors through the wines creates. For him, wine is adrenaline and exploration, in all sense. He is responsible for making Las Mercedes impossible and irresponsible. Thanks for that.
Juan is the builder. He has a lots of quali cations and lots of energy. things happen fast, when he is around. the devil is in the detail and the clocks runs fast. Julio dreams the new project and Juan put every gear in action to make it real. Two are more than one.
María is pure emotion and expression. She dances, sings and acts and teaches others to do it as well. And she is a woman, having a sensibility her brothers miss for sure. She adds that to las mercedes, and a very acute nose. The circle is complete and Las Mercedes is born.

HUNTERS OF TERROIRS

We are hunters of terroirs. We pursue small-size vineyards for each of our wines, seeking a combination of climate and soil that best represents a grape variety in the way we want to express it. Altitude, rainfall, thermal oscillation, orientation to the sun, slope, composition and layers of the soil, are all key elements in our search.

SUSTAINABLE WINS

We have a commitment to minimize and offset the impact of what we do and to have sustainable operations. All our wines have the Sustainability certificate granted by Vinos de Chile and audited by SGS. Also, our wines have Vegan certification, that they do not use derivatives of animal origin.

SINGULAR IS ONE GRAPE, ONE SOIL, ONE WINE.
The wines are unique, made on a terroir from vines that deliver singular characteristics for each wine, intensely highlighting the expression of each origin.
